The old dedicated server crashed in November. I have migrated the site to cloud hosting so that won’t be an issue again. However all services are currently offline until I can get them reprogrammed for their new environment.
An account attack has forced me to delete 87K robot fake accounts. I tried to retain legitimate accounts but couldn’t secure all of them. So your account may have been purged and you will need to re-register. There is now extra security checks for registration and the forums have been disabled until a proper fix can be made.
Was out of town for the week when a power outage went longer than the power backups could hold, and it reset causing all jobs to halt in cue. Will restart tomorrow and it will start trying to catch up.

General backend updates. General AI Image Enhancer images now available in users Account Dashboard for Processed Images. This is the same section as for portraits, there is a tag at the end to indicate which type of image it is.
A reminder, dFACE will only generate G8/8.1 FEMALES, I see people trying to do males and G9’s which will come out as G8F. I’m not adding the others until the baseline G8F has been tweaked. But I need your help for that too. You can help by posting results in the forums along with ideas on how you think the results could be better. Thank you.
xPression is still in the works, G8F is done and working to add G8M and G9 to it for alpha release.

We have switched domain names from VertexBay.com to MadSkills.Studio. The reason was I like the name better but also VertexBay probably conjured ideas of other types of sites which this isn’t intended to be like.
There is a lot here to this site, I was reluctant to use WordPress and still kind of am as it’s IMO bloated. But time will see if can hold up. I needed a platform that would have lots of features, from ecommerce to forums, user control and something I could also create custom code for and was well documented.
Currently the focus here is on improving the free online tools, such as dFace. I had to learn to program in Python and how to wrangle and train AI’s for this project starting about November of 2022. Some have asked if these tools will remain free after the are perfected. First I don’t thing they will ever be perfected, unlike other such projects I see them as probably always going to needed reworking and tooling. As new training models become available for the AI’s and better wrapping and texture baking come about I will update these systems with those. In the the download section in your account area you will notice there is a version number tagged next each of your dFace creations to let you know what version it was built on. Secondly, YES they will always be free to use here. However I do need help with acquiring new equipment to make these tools work better, faster and to add new features. You can also try out the Portrait Enhancer. This is a collection of AI’s that are used in the pre-processing stage of dFace to clean up an image, you can also use it as a standalone. It does use the same waiting list as dFace so it might take some time to get to depending on how long the queue is.
To make this system better I need YOUR help, by giving feedback in the forums section letting me know what your thoughts are, ideas for improvements and of course any bugs you come across.
The future goal for this website. As you might have already guessed this site is intended to eventually become a full marketplace for all kinds of things 3d related. From 3d objects, to 3d printing to Daz, poser and blender products. As well as scripts and plugins for Unity3d and Unreal Engine. But we aren’t to that point yet so all that can currently be ignored. That is however how this site will eventually monetize in order to offer you online tools from, image processing, Daz/Poser content and 3d modeling and texturing tools. I have a LOT of ideas that are doable. From Poses from images, Body shapes from images, Expressions only from Images. Hair from Images and possibly mimic clothing from images. As well as set building tools, from landscapes to room interiors. I also have several standalone programs to be available soon such as TheLayer which is a virtual vellum for the PC, this is also why there is a software section.
